In December 2019 I took over the Hunstanton Ski Café and Bar (previously the Boat House Café). After lovingly renovating the property it was ready for it’s grand opening on 23rd March 2020 … just one day before the first Covid lockdown!
However, after two challenging months we reopened for takeaways and the team and I haven’t looked back since! The café has gone from strength to strength and has become a beachside favourite for regulars and visitors alike, with a staggering amount of ‘familiar faces’ all enjoying the wonderful food, atmosphere and location.
We host twice weekly music events and now also boast a renovated horse box bar, ‘The Seahorse’, that serves various refreshments including Italian Whippy Ice Cream and various flavours of Kellys delicious Cornish Ice Cream.
Thanks to our exemplary staff, we won the “Food and Drink Hero Award 2023” from the Tipsy Teapot and a Travellers Choice Award from Trip Advisor.
